Delicious Beef Lasagna
Ingredients:(For one person)
- 200g of lasagna sheets.
- 300g of ground beef.
- 200g of ricotta cheese.
- 100g of mozzarella cheese.
- 150g of grated Parmesan cheese.
- 400g of marinara sauce.
- 1 medium onion, chopped.
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano.
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil.
- Salt to taste.
- Black pepper to taste.
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Oven.
- Baking dish.
- Saucepan.
- Mixing bowl.
- Wooden spoon.
- Aluminum foil.
Method of making:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions , and add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add ground beef to the saucepan and cook until brownish. drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place a layer of lasagna sheets over the sauce.
Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture over the sheets, followed by a layer of meat sauce, then a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers until ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of meat sauce topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Cut into portions and enjoy your delicious beef lasagna.
