Stir-Fried Tofu With Broccoli And Rice
Ingredients:
- 200g of firm tofu.
- 100g of brown rice.
- 150g of broccoli.
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced.
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced.
- Salt to taste.
- Pepper to taste.
- Sesame seeds for garnish.
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Wok.
- Spatula.
- Knife.
- Cutting Board.
- Measuring Cups.
Method of making:
Cook the
brown rice according to package instructions until fluffy.
While rice
is cooking, press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
In a wok,
heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the
minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the
cubed tofu to the wok and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the
broccoli and continue cooking for another 5 minutes, adding a splash of water
if necessary to steam the broccoli.
Pour in the
soy sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Once
everything is well combined and heated through, remove from heat.
Serve the
stir-fry over the cooked brown rice,
garnishing with sesame seeds.
