Sausage Bun

Sausage Bun / Sausage Roll


Ingredients:

  • wheat flour - 250g
  • 100ml of cow's milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt powder
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Yeast  1 1/2 tbsp
  • 1 egg (60g)
  • 25g of butter
  • Sesame seeds (if you have)

Method of making :

First, add yeast, low heat cow's milk and sugar and let it puff.

Now if the yeast is well puffed, 

Put wheat flour, salt and butter in a separate bowl, beat the egg and add 1/2 of it and mix well to make the dough.

Knead it well into a non-sticky dough and break it into 10 small equal balls. (Take one of them weighing 40g - 42g.)

Now roll these as small balls and cover them with a kitchen towel to double in size.

(At this time, we need to wash and dry the sausages well.)

After 20 minutes, take one of the puffed dough balls, put the bottom side up, flatten it by hand and then  flatten it into a square with a rolling pin.

It should be as long as the sausage, and on the other side, the sausage should come out of the dough.

Now place the sausage in the center of the dough and cut three lines from the right side side with a knife. Do the same from the left side.

Now take one side and put it on the sausage and stick it.. Now take the other side in the same way and stick it until it goes under..

Now paste the sausage bun nicely into the shape of cross, seal it well, 

And then put an oil paper on the baking tray and keep sausage buns on it for about 15 minutes until it doubles in size..

Now after 12 minutes preheat the oven at 200c° for 10 minutes..

When we are going to put the sausage buns in the oven, it is time to do the egg wash.. If the buns have been egg washed that way, put some sesame seeds on top and bake them for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 200c°.. (This time varies from oven to oven. ..)

Now put the baked sausage bun on the cooling rag to cool and cover it with a kitchen towel.

Mmm... really tasty..
