Coconut Toffee

 Coconut toffee(christmas Recipe)

Ingredients:

Grated coconut

Teaspoon of salt

300 Grams of sugar

1/4 Teaspoon of vanilla

Tablespoon of milk powder.

Food coloring

Method of making:

First prepare a tray adding a oil paper on it and keep it aside.

Then add 150 ml of water and a teaspoon of salt to 300 grams of sugar and put it on the stove on low heat. After about 10-15 minutes, the white bubble will come out to the proportion that falls on the string.

If you don't know the proportion that falls on the string, put some of the treacle in a little water and see if it comes together like a ball. If it does, the proportion is correct. It doesn't matter if this is a little less.

 When it reaches that amount, add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla and fry and add 200g of grated desiccated coconut. Those who are not dessicated, fry fresh coconut until it dries well. (Desicated is available to everyone, so it is easy if you buy it)

If you have it with coconut, add a tablespoon of milk powder. Add 2-3 drops of your desired coloring and when everything is mixed well, put it on the previously prepared tray and smooth it well with a buttered spoon/spatula or a smoother.

Next, let it cool well and cut it into pieces. Soak the knife in boiling water every time you cut. Then it will be nice and not sticky.
